What's more, the numerous parking lots in the immediate vicinity of the embarkation point and the modest size of our boat make it a less crowded alternative to the regular shuttles for easily reaching the Îles d'Or. Frequently asked questions

Reservations are not mandatory, but strongly recommended !
  • In high season: as the boat is limited to 50 passengers, we strongly advise you to book in advance to ensure the number of places available on the days and at the times you require.
  • In low season: this allows us to warn you in the event of cancellation due to weather or lack of numbers, and to offer you a postponement or refund of your reservation. So you won't be coming for nothing!

Contrary to what you might think, it's best to visit the islands of Porquerolles and Port-Croson weekend days. In fact, these are the least frequented days due to the large majority of rentals and accommodations arriving and departing.

If weekends aren't an option, Mondays and Fridays are best, as the islands are busiest on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during the peak season (especially August).

We of course we accept dogs on board at no extra charge. Dogs must be kept on a leash and remain the responsibility of their owners. Dogs are not allowed on Golden Isles:
  • at Port-Cros, dogs on leashes are allowed in the village of Port-Cros, between the Fort du Moulin and the statue of St Joseph, but they are prohibited on most of the island to maintain the tranquillity of the fauna and the cleanliness of the beaches.
  • At Porquerolles, dogs are allowed on the entire island, except for the beaches.

If we are obliged to cancel your tour due to weather conditions or any other reason, we will call you by telephone to offer you either a postponement or a refund of your reservation to your credit card if you have purchased your tickets online, or at the ticket office if you have purchased them there.

However, if you cancel, tickets are neither exchangeable nor refundable.

The times shown are always departure times, so please arrive well in advance: 15 minutes before is fine!

In very high season, and depending on your departure time, you should also allow time for parking, as the many parking spaces near our pier can fill up quickly!

From June 19 to September 20, the Var Prefecture regulates access to the Var forest areas in case of fire risk. The Golden Isles are Golden Isles exception!

On days when the risk of fire is very high (red), traffic on the islands is restricted:
👉 At Porquerolles, only beach access roads are open.
👉 At Port-Cros, only access to the southern beach and the village. For extreme risk, at Port-Cros, only the village is accessible.

We cannot be held responsible for the closure of forest areas in the event of strong winds and drought, as decided by Arrêté Préfectoral. To avoid disappointment, please make sure you have all the information you need before booking.

The information map for access to forest areas at risk from forest fires is published every day at 7pm for the following day on the https://www.risque-prevention-incendie.fr/var/ website.
